want to help make it the best it can be.
The study of animal behavior is not an exact science. We can never really know, for example, what
our pets are thinking or feeling in any situation. All we can do is look at how they they respond
to things that happen to and around them.We look for clues in the way a dog holds his ears or the dilation of a
cat's pupils, a stiff tail or contented purr.We study these clues as we would a map, hopefully getting to what
they're telling us.
Behavior researchers are making discoveries every day about
brain development, how pets learn and even whether pets have the ability to
understand concepts like love and generosity. In some ways, science is finding ways to prove what pet owners have
known all along.
So it IS a science, but it is also an art, as trainers are
challenged to find new ways to solve problems and gain insight, and we learn
something new every time we make the effort to look at things from a
four-legged point of view.
The Fur Fixes philosophy centers on continuous education for
trainers as well as clients. You will
always receive the best and latest positive training techniques available from
a professional pet trainer who listens to and addresses your individual concerns.
